Mounted on the south wall of the Gettysburg room that looks out onto the University of Pittsburgh's Cathedral of Learning and the historic Hotel Schenley, eight matching display cases house, preserve and present Soldiers & Sailors collection of Medals of Honor - the highest US Military decoration awarded to recognize acts of particular valor.

Designed and fabricated by EngineHouse, these cases provide LED exhibit lighting and passive humidity control, while displaying the medals and telling each recipients’ extraordinary story.
